In this thread can introduce yourself if you want:[edited some out, as it was outdated] I am admin and one of the original founders of the forum and I check in regularly and support the group with some advice and idea'z here and there for and about the forum and clan and I try keep a eye on keeping it structured and nice . Anywayz, as for the some urbandead background stuff: I was lone survivor a while for some time in urban dead. Most of the time when I started playing I had been around shore hills area. At first because I thought of silent hill and kinda morped the name shore hills to silent hill and had tagged the school with a silenthill reference . Then I lvled a bit up, died a few times, went to police stations and hospitals in shore hills to find guns/ammo and first aid kits. And at some point I went to zeally and decided to stay aroud there. This forum was resurrected because a forum would be a nice help with a operation/raid some of the people of zeally are planning on. It's now been a while since the raid, things happend and changed a bit since then. Atm I'm relaxin at zeally'z and keepin a eye on this forum. * End boring introduction *

Good day.
I am a Zombie.
I have come hither to let out an invitation, or a warning, if you will.
I have an intense dislike of the Zeally Arms. Most bars let me in to have a nice quiet drink, but it appears under your policy, you shoot all zombies outside. I came for a drink, and left with a hole in my head. So this I promise: The Zeally Arms will fall. I will eat as many of you as I can. And then I'm going to go to your bar, and drink your liquor. In peace.
Thank you for your time.

Ow hello Anarchis (I suppose you are Anarchis aren't you?). Be much welcome.
Well, our policy is not to kill every zombified person who stand outside our bar, but to make a secure place of it. Thus, as in this town you zombies intend to eat more brains than drink beer, we have to get rid of you when you come knocking at our door. Especially when you are several of you. Furthermore, as we keep our cades at VSB, to welcome every survivor, a lot of them happen to be low levels. And then they go outside to hunt zombies, in order to level up. And what is easier than training on the first zombie you see on your front steps?
Please consider as well that this bar reopened not long ago, and that because of this we are not necessarily aware of every bar tradition. Time will run its course and bring its lot of knowledge.
Anyway, we'll probably have other discussions inside at some point. Our whisky's good, and I understand your will to sip it. But you'll have much more chances stepping in as a human if you want to drink quietly.
Tenderly,
Aunty.

This is why Aunt is in our negotiations branch. She makes everything much more positive.
That has got to be the most kind and polite declaration of attack that I have ever seen, or read. I suppose thank you for the honorable mention of imminent attack.
If you wouldn't kill new members nor older, and were actually there to have a beer, then frankly I do not see the issue of having you in the pub. I have as of yet to see such passiveness from a Zed. There are several issues that need to be addressed if negotiations are to be made. Now this does not mean we cannot work out an agreement.
If interested then speak up. -Fightin'Mick, Sergeant At Arms'

Thank you for your kind reply. As a fully leveled hardline zombie, I have no need to eat any human flesh, since I need no survivor skills. I have tried to remain courteous during my siege, and have refrained from eating low levelled harmans who have run out of AP outside of your doorstep (I even gave them a gesture towards the pub). I would be very happy to come to an agreement with you over the matter.

*Chokes on beer and begins to sputter and cough* By the Zeally! You are more polite than a damned survivor!
In that case, let us discuss this among the group, we do try and remain a free voting group, and we will post the results here.

No problem, I respond to courtesy with courtesy. I wait eagerly for the results, to see if negotiations are wanted.

Dear Anarchis (are you by the way? I assume you are, but had no confirmation so far), we are currently voting about the future evolutions of the Zeally, regarding your request. The result will show up in a week, I'll post the result here so you know what have been decided.

That is quite fine, indeed I am. I've decided to hold off attacking the base while you have been in discussion, since to assault you at this point would be rather against the rules of polite warfare. I lie outside, sleeping on the ground. Also, if it is not intrusive on my part, would it be possible to know the question posed to your pub members?

Oh for sure. After discussing the matter, here are the several options we came up with, and put in the poll : it can be decided that the Zeally stays as it is, allowing no zombie neither inside nor outside, whatever nice intentions they may have. Or we might temporarily open our doors by time to time, to share a friendly drink with zombified comrades. Or we can make a terrace outside the Zeally, to allow zombies to permanently enjoy a drink there, free from being shoot at (well, you still aren't safe from hard zombie hunter, but should be from normal people). Or we take over the abandoned pub next door, and transform it into the Zeally's zombie counterpart, creating a warm & cosy atmosphere there for zombies fan of booze. Well, nothing is decided so far, neither things are carved in stone. The poll's going on, results in a week

We never seemed to get Zeds like you over at the Sendell in the Graysides. Probably cuz most of them were football hooligans before all of this trouble started, hanging around the Sendell where the Crash fans used to hang out.
Anyway, I'm Marcus Lobonsky, a West Grayside chapter member of the South Malton Watch. We share a common bond with the folks here at the Zeally in that we appreciate the value of keeping a little civility in our daily lives with a little tidy hospitality.
A while ago the whole chapter got scattered and we've been having major re-organization problems. I wandered west after it looked as though major efforts to clean up West Grayside fell apart entirely and wound up hanging around the Zeally, and have been very graciously received by those that call her home. Lately, with the consent of the lovely and polite Aunty, I've been using Zeally as a sort of home base to keep up my work in a number of south-western suburbs, keeping things orderly and helping those outside of the DEM to keep their homes safe and manageable.
And yes, I'm a dirty Slav.

Thank you for the introduction Marcus! It's always nice to know how people ended up in the Zeally, and a bit of their history.

G'day mates. Otis is the name, and I'm proud ta be a yokel. You get more moonshine that way. The tale of how I ended up at the Zeally is a long and epic one ... oh wait, it's not. I just stumbled in one day after drifting about sorta random like. The atmosphere was nice, and no-one tried to shoot, stab or otherwise murder-ate me, so I figured I'd hang around a spell. But I've been around a fair spell now, so if'n any o' you youngsters needs a hand, feel free to give me a shout. Just make sure I'm conscious when ya do. Cheers, Otis. Cheers
